The brands of all Mozfoods subsidiaries, Tia Rosa, Mia Sementes and Vanduzi will remain, but now under this new umbrella.

The main reason for change to Mozfoods, is to reflect and match the progress and widening of company’s commercial activities and portray our intention to be a notorious player in the food industry in Mozambique

Until June 30^th documentation in the name of Grupo Moçfer, SA will be accepted and also all commitments made prior to this date by Grupo Moçfer, Sa will be accepted.

From 1st July, 2010 we appreciate that

all documentation must be addressed to Mozfoods S.A.

Companhia do Vandúzi SA has been over a year and a half giving shape and body to the construction of the Primary School of Nhatarara in Barué district, as part of its corporate social responsibility projects.

The construction of this school targets one of the most desired needs of the company´s employees and of its surrounding communities.

The concretization of this project was made possible by the unique effort and active participation of various private Mozambican and foreign entities, who believed in this project and decided to join us in a common cause and effort.

It is with great pride that we see our project reach the end. This school will benefit approximately 448 students, aged between 6 and 17 years old and nine teachers.

The official inauguration of the School of Nhatarara took place last April 15th, at 9 o’clock.

Among other distinguished guests, we had the honour of having the Governor of Manica province,. Ana Comoana, inaugurate the school.

Companhia do Vandúzi S.A. has been given the privilege of using the Made in Mozambique logo on all product lines and marketing materials.

The ceremony was held on April 15^th, at the Companhia do Vandúzi S.A. headquarters in Chimoio.

By having the logo made in Mozambique, Companhia do Vandúzi S.A. is now officially part of the group of companies that produces and promotes all that is Made in Mozambique.

This entry results of the analysis carried out by consulting Group KPMG, looking at business volumes, net results, number of employees and capital return.

Grupo Moçfer S.A. was also included in the top 5 group of the biggest entries.

The 100 best companies in 2008, coming in 28^th position
The Top 10 by Order of Return on Equity, Grupo Moçfer S.A. came in 7^th position

For the first time Grupo Moçfer S.A was present at the Facim fair 2009, together with its two subsidiary companies in Mozambique namely: Mia- Moçfer Indústrias Alimentares S.A. based at Chókwè, Gaza Province and Companhia do Vandúzi S.A., Vandúzi, Manica Province. Grupo Moçfer S.A part of the Cepagri stand in Facim.

The main objectives of Grupo Moçfer was to divulge its commercial objectives in Mozambique, the different products that both Mia and Companhia de Vandúzi produce and offer the various markets in which they operate in.

MIA (Moçfer Industrias Alimentares, SA) has been given the privilige ofusing  the Made in Mozambique logo on all product lines and marketing materials.

The ceremony was held on September 17^th, at MIA´s headquarters in Chókwè.

By having the logo made in Mozambique, MIA is now officially part of the group of companies that produces and promotes all that is Made in Mozambique.

It is with great pride that MIA receives this logo, as it is one of MIA´s differentiating factors. MIA wants to be identified as the grower and supplier of high quality, 100% Mozambican grown rice.
